Gen Society

This is Gen Society, a creative project and small literary press exploring the intersection of visual art and creative writing. On this channel, I dive into trading card game artwork, mostly from Magic: The Gathering, searching for artists whose work can later inspire poetry on the Gen Society blog. I’m Lorin Drexler, a writer, musician, and lifelong creative. Opening booster packs is one of the ways I discover new imagery and the artists behind it. Most of the time, that search happens through MTG, though I occasionally peek into other TCG worlds and the artists shaping them. As a fun side element, I also keep track of whether each pack manages to beat its value.
